Integrated Behavioral Health

Individuals who are dually diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health conditions are often misdiagnosed, receive ill-informed care, or no care at all. Integrating behavioral health into primary care improves mental health, increases patients' adherence to treatment, improves quality of life, fosters behavioral change for complex medical conditions, and encourages collaborative care.
