Geriatric Interprofessional Grand Rounds
NJISA provides an annual four-session Geriatric Interdisciplinary Grand Rounds series, delivered in partnership with Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine. The series is offered live on the third Wednesday of each month at the Jefferson Health System-Stratford division and videoconferenced to Jefferson’s Cherry Hill and Washington Township satellite divisions. Geriatric Grand Rounds targets an interdisciplinary audience of physicians, fellows, residents, interns, house staff and students. Osteopathic physicians earn one AOA Category 1-A CME credit for each lecture attended in the series.
Geriatric Interprofessional Team Conference
Geriatric Interdisciplinary Team Conference is a monthly lecture series which targets the learning needs of an interprofessional group of faculty members, fellows, residents and students. Didactic lectures, case studies and journal club presentations are offered on a variety of interprofessional geriatric and gerontological issues. Presenters include academic and clinical medical faculty, community-based health care and social service providers, psychologists, nutritionists, physical therapists, etc. Team Conference sessions are offered live from September-May on the Rowan-Virtua SOM Stratford campus in the Rowan Medicine Building, Room 3000. Osteopathic physicians earn one AOA Category 1-A CME credit for each lecture attended in the series.
